Tourist make fools out of the cops

Seems tourist are making fools out of cops here.
I'm betting none of them are staying locked up for the whole 14 days.
What they should have done is make one or two hotels a tourist quarantine site.
Have a bus take them there.
This way there can be 24 hour a day control.
Seems to me to be a simple solution to the problem.

No graduation ceremony

It looks like there will be no graduation ceremony this year.
Kind of sad.
Many students, families, look froward to it.
I think they should make an exception.
Maybe make it optional.
Even without the ceremony, I'm sure there will be many parties going on.
Are they going to be invaded by the cops??????

I've noticed more cars parked on the street here.
Many have not mover in a month or so.
Looked up some of the license plates, and they are not from this area.
Many are from town.
I think someone is storing them here.
Who could I contact to find out about this????

Twelve O'Clock High (1949)

Decided to watch the movie Twelve O'Clock High that I have on DVD. It is not the first time I have seen it but other than the beginning where the Major Stovall character finds a certain beer mug in a store and going over to the abandoned airfield I don't remember much of the movie.

The movie is about a United States Army Air Force Bomber Group based in England in 1942 during World War II. The group flies the B-17 bomber to targets in Europe occupied by Nazi Germany and the group initially suffer losses such that group commander is replaced by General Frank Savage played by Gregory Peck and his job is to get the morale of the bomber group back up.

Most of the movie takes place on the airbase but there are scenes where the bombers are doing their mission but that is towards at the end of the movie.

a lucky bunch ended up with a great FREE Thanksgiving meal to take home today from a food truck giving away grinds which they now do every Friday at noon-ish from undetermined locations as they're just starting this enterprise to support the community in a time of crisis and getting food to the hungry with a pay it forward program. these folks loaded the plate with a tasty holiday variety and I gave them all the change I had ..$7+ and I got the better deal. support those who support us in times of crisis, check their fb page for info and expect to be at / near Suzie Wong's (the old Hideaway!) on Ena Rd. next Fri. and bring money! this reminds me of when the Hare Krishna used to make $$$ serving plenty of delicious free food at Kapiolani Park with v low overhead, but cops get stupid... https://www.facebook.com/cdcfoodtruckwaikiki/
