Does Anyone Remember The Movie Theater In Waialua ?
When I lived on Oahu as a child '63 - ' 67 there was a movie theater in Waialua where I sometimes went on Saturdays. Across the street was a park with an old steam locomotive sitting on it. People said that it was once used to haul sugar cane from the fields. I remember playing on it with my siblings. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone?

As a kid in Hawaii, I would watch a show called "Skipper Al". He would have adventures with his two puppet friends, Jasper & Gramps. I cannot find anything on Skipper Al, but a Google search for Jasper & Gramps turns up a character called "Captain Bob" Cottle. It's the same guy, along with his puppet friends. Why is he called "Captain Bob" when I knew him as "Skipper Al? This one confuses me.
I still remember the other kid's shows that we would watch: Beany & Cecil, Hercules, The Funny Company, and Captain Honolulu. Those were good old days.

Taxi vs ride share????
Both collect money for a ride.
So what is the difference between the two????
Why do taxis need to follow rules, the ride shares don't????
Do ride shares have the same insurance that taxis have????
Do ride shares need a PUC license like taxis do???

So the stupid government wants to raise the minimum wage.
It will get the lots of votes from the stupid people.
But who is going to pay for it????
Business is not going to take the hit.
Most are just getting by a it is.
They will just cut hours, fire workers, and raise prices.
So now you have more people out of work, or working less hours, and things will cost more.
If things cost more, people will spend less.
When people spend less, business make less.
Many will just close, putting more people out of a job.
What about those who have worked hard for many years, so they could get more get paid more than minimum wage????
Won't they expect a raise too.
They worked for it, so they deserve it.

Hotel workers went on strike to get a living raise.
They got it.
Their pay is $28 an hour, for the lower workers.

If you are to stupid, or to lazy, to improve yourself, who's fault is that????
They should lower the minimum wage. Eliminate the tax on food and health care.
Make it a requirements you have to work to get welfare.

lol they could have done as well asleep under the sheets for Super Bowl bust Lll, what an embarrassment to both teams, they just stunk. in the 4th qtr. I finally saw a bit of blood on a uniform, maybe a bad hang nail... it's been 20yrs since I really watched an NFL ball game cos of the massive devolution from old school gritty excitement, no class to be found on the field or in the booth, all the racist owners, showboating players minus a lick of unique physical personality, and the last ever I'll waste my time with unless I find an electric football game to play lol
